P.S. You’re Still Boring

In the fall, the counseling office sponsored a “Thank you” initiative that encouraged students to send a note to any teacher in the district who’d made an impact on their lives.  I’d known this young man for three years and in that three years, I watched him grow from a repeat freshman never quite winning his battle against dyslexia and gross truancy into a senior taking college classes, translating for parents during conferences, and becoming a valued member of his soccer team.  I could not be more proud of this young man if he was my son!  I was not expecting a card from him, but his personal touch is so him, so true, and so hilarious.
